Irish country singer Derek Ryan celebrated another huge headline appearance at Belsonic’s Farmers Bash in Ormeau Park by thanking the Belfast crowd for their continued support. Sharing a message, he wrote: “9 years of Farmers Bash. Thank You Belfast Belsonic!” marking his ninth year performing at the popular country music event to over 20,000 fans.
Farmers Bash has grown significantly since it first began at the SSE Arena in Belfast, evolving into one of the biggest celebrations of country music in Northern Ireland. After moving outdoors to Boucher Playing Fields last year, the event took place at Ormeau Park this year as part of the Belsonic festival. Derek Ryan has been a familiar face throughout its history and also performed at the special drive-in Farmers Bash in Ballymena during lockdown, making his latest appearance another milestone in his long association with the event.
