Bigger and better Farmers Bash returns after two years to the SSE Arena, Belfast this April

Rising PR are delighted to be the PR partners once again for the return of the Farmers Bash at the SSE Arena this April.

The role of the farmer in all our lives has never had more importance, not just in the last year and a half, but in the months to come. Now it’s time for farmers to exchange their wellies and boots, for their gingham, denim and cowboy hats, to attend the annual Farmers Bash concert in the SSE Arena, Belfast on Saturday 23rd April.

This year will feature a stellar line-up of popular Irish country performers, including headliner Derek Ryan, Lisa McHugh and All Folk’d Up.

Previous years the event has sold out. Given the disappointment that scores of hundreds of young farmers have experienced due to lockdown, The Farmers Bash will be one of the first events in which country music fans in Northern Ireland will have the chance to come back and jive their way around the floor with social distancing rules now relaxed.

Promoter Darren Gardiner from LSFX Promotions said today “following the Executive’s last meeting and the lifting of remaining restrictions for indoor performances, we have now set the plan in motion to produce this year’s Farmers Bash. We intend to create a very memorable night with the aim in bringing back some joy and life to those who have been hindered because of lockdown and restrictions. Once again, the Farmers Bash will become the biggest country dances in Ireland,” Darren said.

Headlining the show Derek Ryan, whose popularity is large among the rural farming community, having just released his song ‘Thank God for the Farmers’ and previous fan-favourite hit ‘Friends with Tractors’ is excited about the prospect of being headliner for the fourth time. This will be Derek’s first chance to engage with his country faithful, having not been able to attend his usual stint at the Balmoral Show or the National Ploughing Championships this year. “The Farmers Bash is the biggest event we perform at, and we really look forward to it every year. I will be performing many of the tracks from my new album live to an audience for the first time.”

Tickets for the Farmers Bash are on sale now at www.ssearenabelfast.com and Ticketmaster.
